We were fortunate in meeting Tom& Sheila on our way to the house swap which helped us familiarise with information about the area. The house has been modernised with a large kitchen and Aga and a beautiful garden which was very well maintained. It was clean and tidy and warm. The location of the house enabled easy access to major cities in Cheshire and Merseyside and also North Wales. We took full advantage of all that was on offer. We were fortunate in the weather for the week and walks along the promenade which was 5 minutes from the house enabled a different perspective of this lovely coast line. We thoroughly enjoyed this exchange which gave us memories of times spent here in the past and this is an exchange we would recommend to others.

Dear Tom and Sheila, What a wonderful experience. It has been lurking in your corner of the Wirral in your beautifully and sensitively converted home with all the quality touches. We are greatly appreciated, the experience of your home and your generosity in sharing it. We managed to swim twice, explore the coastline, including watching the Sun go down at various points – we also visited as well Port Sunlight and the Lady Lever Art gallery, with its extraordinary collection and dipped into Liverpool twice, mostly for cultural reasons, enjoying the Walker Art Gallery, the Tate and the fantastic central library. Our final night was a wonderful meal at the Greasby Manor which has only been open for four or five weeks with superb staff. excellent food and beautiful presentation. Enjoyed spending time in West Kirby (Cibo cafe) ; Heswall & Caldy as well as the atmospheric pub ‘Dee View Inn’ (Heswall).
