Dear Benedicte and Kurt thank you for this beautiful exchange. Your home is really special, comfortable, warm and cosy, Full of details that reveal your passions and interests. Thank you for the delicious lunch we found on our arrival. We really miss your mezzanine, which is an ideal place for relaxing and daydreaming. Ghent is ideally located for visiting other Belgian cities nearby as well as being a town full of things to discover. In spite of the winter rain, we keep a bright memory of it. We will always be ready to repeat our exchange

Charming, comfortable home built in 1704, a few minutes' walk from the historic centre of Ghent. It is an easy tram ride to the main railway station, from which there are frequent trains to Bruges, Antwerp, Mechelen, Oostende and other destinations. Benedicte and Kurt were very friendly and helpful exchange partners. This was a very successful and enjoyable exchange and we would highly recommend it to other Homelink members.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans votre maison. La maison est magnifique et typique de la région. Elle était très propre et confortable. La communication était parfaite et nous avions tout le nécessaire pour préparer nos visites. La localisation est exceptionnelle pour visiter la belle ville de Gand. Encore merci pour tout !

Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil. Nous avons adoré venir sur Gand pendant le festival. Tous les jours c'était l'occasion de découvrir des nouveaux groupes. En plus, en plein centre ville, votre maison a été un bon point de départ pour visiter le château, la vieille ville tout en dégustant des glaces !

Kurt, Benedicte, Elia en Jutta, Wat een charmant en gezellig huis hebben jullie, en echt op wandelafstand van de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden van Gent. We hebben genoten van ons bezoek aan het Designmuseum en aan de Sint Niklaaskerk, van de take away bij 'Balls and Glory', maar vooral ook van de kleine ontdekkingen tijdens onze wandelingetjes en fietstochtjes langs de vele mooie gebouwen, gezellige straatjes, parken en waters,... echt een fijne stad, Gent! Nooit gedacht dat we 2x met dezelfde familie zouden ruilen, maar deze lastminute vakantie, opnieuw in jullie prachtige huis, was zalig. We hebben genoten van de gezellige zithoek met het haardvuur, de wandelingen door een prachtig verlicht Gent, een deugddoende wandeling aan zee, het gemak van take-away in deze vreemde tijden... Kortom, het waren 4 geweldige dagen in onze bubbel. Dankjewel en graag tot een volgende keer!

Una casa extraordinariamente bien situada, al andar pocos metros giras y entras en el pasado de esta preciosa ciudad, de gran interés turístico internacional. Por otro lado, solo tengo palabras de agradecimiento para la familia que nos acogió en su bella casa y con anfitrión inmejorables su gato llamado Pilote. Juan Manuel y Charo...

Our son Lorenzo and its family have had a very fun holidays in Gand. The house was very interesting, confortable and elegant, well placed in the city. Thanks a lot.

Nous vous remercions pour ce très bel échange à la fois sympathique et insolite... nous avons eu huit jours d’un temps printanier, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir Gant, Anvers, Bruges et Ostende dans des conditions idéales. Merci pour cette maison chaleureuse et très bien située qui ne nécessite pas l’usage d’une voiture pour le quotidien et favorise l’immersion au cœur de cette magnifique ville de Gant en moins de dix minutes de marche. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de vous, Bénédicte et Kurt, même si nous ne nous sommes croisés que sur le tarmac de l’aéroport de Montpellier....

Wat een heerlijk weekend is dit geweest. Geweldige locatie op loopafstand van het sfeervolle Gent. Slapen in een bijzonder monumentaal pand uit 1704, even terug in de tijd, even totale onthaasting en dat in het hart van een stad. Kurt en Bendicte heel hartelijk dank voor jullie gastvrije onthaal en dat we in jullie bijzonder plekje mochten verblijven.

Qué deciros de vuestra maravillosa casa y de vuestra ciudad!!! Espectacular. Muchas gracias por dejarnos vivir en vuestro hogar. Nos ha encantado cuidar de vuestro gato y nos encantó el regalo que nos hicisteis tan especial: bombones y un paseo en barca por Gante!! Mil gracias por todo!!!1

We had a very nice holiday in Benedicte`s and Kurt`s comfortable and ancient house with a lot of history. We spent a lot of time in the city where we discovered a lot of things, the castle in the city center, the flamish architecture, the design museum etc.. Our daughter loved the Christmas atmosphere with the Chrismas market. We also had nice evenings in restaurants where delicious food waited.

Benedicte en Kurt, Dankjewel voor een geweldige ruil. De contacten op voorhand waren aangenaam en ook onze ontmoeting thuis was heel fijn. Jullie hebben een prachtig huis, heel warm en gezellig. De ligging is fantastisch, in het centrum, kortbij alle culturele hoogtepunten. Het is ook ideaal als je wil genieten van lekker eten en drinken of een namiddagje shoppen. We hebben ook genoten van jullie comfortabel huis, heerlijk relaxen met een spel of een DVD (die jullie meer dan genoeg hebben) Pilou hield ons gezelschap! Wij hebben een hele fijne tijd in Gent gehad, in de sfeervolle woning van Kurt en Benedicte. Door de centrale ligging was alles dichtbij en te lopen. Er is in Gent veel te doen en te zien. We konden de auto nabij in de garage parkeren. Het huis was comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Kat Pitou heeft een leuk karakter en was prettig gezelschap tijdens ons verblijf. Een heerlijk ruilhuis, bedankt!

We enjoyed your house like ours, near the city center You have a wonderful holiday season and we've had a great time. From Ghent we have such beautiful cities like Bruges, Brussels, Antwerp ... Another wonderful exchange in this beautiful house in the middle of Ghent. It has such a warm, cozy atmosphere that it was hard to leave at times! Ghent is a very friendly, lively town with a lot to discover. I walked miles just to drink in all the stunning architecture, and at every corner you can rest in a nice café or choose which of the delicious chocolate specialities you're going to try next. Thanks once again to Bénédicte and Kurt for suggesting this swap, and also to Piloe, the cat, for letting me share the house with him :-)

Bénédicte et Kurt nous ont combles d'attentions delicates.. Ils avaient prevu une activité delicieuse, avait réglé le problème du parking..
