We are an active couple in our 60's who love to travel and see the world. We have had 3 successful home exchanges so far.
Eric is now retired, after spending his career working for overseas aid and charities. He loves writing novels and is also a professional singer/guitarist.
Wendy is a retired midwife who now teaches yoga and meditation, and has her own home studio. We have 3 adult children and 6 beautiful grandchildren!
During Covid, we also welcomed a family dog into our hearts and home.

Our neighbourhood is very friendly. We live in a court, on an unmade road, just 10 minutes walk from Port Phillip Bay. There are beautiful swimming beaches with fine white sand close by. The local shops, cafes and supermarkets, with everything you need, are just a 10 minute walk away. There are abundant choices of restaurants and bars close by.
We live in a seaside town, with lovely wineries, golf courses, ocean beaches, nature reserves and magnificent scenery all within easy reach by car. The city of
Melbourne is just over an hour away by car, or you can catch the train from Frankston (15 minutes drive, or a bus trip) direct to the city.

Nature park, The Briars, with wallabies, emus and echidnas, is close by. Also beautiful beaches, wineries, golf courses within a short distance. The Eagle chairlift, with breathtaking views over Port Phillip Bay, is 15 minutes drive away. We will provide a folder with all the local information you need for a terrific holiday!

We would prefer a couple to exchange with, no children please. We take great pride in our lovely home, and would expect it to be looked after by you as if it were your own. Naturally we would also take great care of your home if we were to organise an exchange:)
We have had 4 successful exchanges so far, Burgundy FRANCE, Docklands MELBOURNE, Victor Harbour SA, and a lovely couple from Vancouver Island CANADA stayed here early 2020. (Unfortunately, due to Covid, we have yet to complete our exchange to Canada! )
We have thoroughly enjoyed all of these experiences, and look forward to seeing more of Australia, and gradually more of this amazing world we live in.
It would be wonderful to travel to Europe again!
We would prefer home exchanges during Victorian school holidays if possible. This is our primary home. Non simultaneous exchange may be possible, as we can stay with our son and family if necessary. We are happy to negotiate dates and times, and really look forward to welcoming you into our home!
