We have recently returned from a four week stay at Wendy and Bob's house in Mount Pleasant, Perth. They welcomed us warmly on arrival, gave us a comprehensive tour of the house and also left us a generous supply of food, including a cooked meal for the evening. The house is light, very spacious, extremely comfortable and even nicer than the photos show. As well as a pool, it has a large and pretty garden and there are outdoor seating and eating areas in the garden, on the pool terrace and on the large first floor balcony. The house is not overlooked and there are beautiful views down to the Canning River from the front and side. The house is ideally situated for riverside walks, local shopping and for trips to the beaches (30 minutes by car) and by bus (the bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk) to the centre of Perth and to Fremantle. It is also a good starting point for further exploration of the SW. We were very sorry when the time came to leave as this was probably our best exchange to date. Many thanks! Highly recommended

Bob and Wendy's home is in a beautiful location in Perth with easy access walks to the river and café. The house itself is lovely and spacious with all amenities you could need. They were very gracious when we were unable to provide a swap car for them as it broke down (quite considerably!!) just before they came. It was a wonderfully comfortable stay.

Thanks so much for your kind welcome - to us and our kids. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your comfortable home. And it was really magic to get up every morning and take a walk along the river.

Thanks so much for the use of your lovely home - it was a great location & only 10 mins from my sister's home. Loved our walks & rides along the river & the several games of golf we had. Was great to meet & chat over coffee on our way home at the airport. Thanks also for the advice on our roses & caring for our home & chooks.

Our second exchange with Bob & Wendy and we again found their lovely home welcoming and with everything we needed for a great holiday. Bob & Wendy made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. We try to get over to Australia every year and can hopefully meet up again in the future.
