We knew we were about to enjoy a special exchange when Alison welcomed us to a superb lunch to meet and swap keys. As former Sydney residents we knew the Potts Point area quite well. Proximity to the city and transport, abundance of food outlets and restaurants and cosmopolitan environment were all very attractive to us. What we didn't expect was a rooftop level with 360 degree views of the city and the harbour with BBQ and seating facilities to ensure we could enjoy this rare feature. The cosy apartment has a sheltered balcony with harbour and city views, perfect for meals or a drink at the end of a busy day enjoying the delights of Sydney. The ideal location meant we made the most enjoyable use of our time in our former home city.

Rich with history, culture and sophistication, Potts Point is an ideal place to visit for those who want to enjoy the picturesque surroundings of an Art Deco suburb and still be close to everything Sydney has to offer.

Potts Point is situated 2 kms from Sydney City, just a short 20-minute walk to the city centre and a stone's throw from Kings Cross Railway Station, so you can easily catch a train to some of Sydney's major attractions. Sydney buses, taxis and car hire are also readily available in the immediate vicinity.

As for dining out, Victoria St, and in particular Macleay St and Darlinghurst Road are dotted with a range of restaurants and small bars to suit all tastes. There are a number of small theaters within walking distance as well as the Art Gallery of NSW.

Or there are plenty of parks, museums and bayside charm in the neighbouring suburbs of Woolloomooloo, Elizabeth Bay and Darlinghurst close by.
