WHAT WE ARE: Modern home in the Southern Highlands of NSW 1.5 hrs to Sydney, 2 Hours to Canberra, 1 hour to the south coast.
At 700M elevation we get one or two snow flurries in the winter. Our home is gas heated, a comfortable and spacious home that overlooks a park that has ponds with ducks, and a cycleway. Bowral has four seasons, with frosty winter mornings, then temperate summers. Autumn colours abound, and we have the Tulip Festival in late September.
OUR OBJECTIVES. We have a daughter and grandchildren in Townsville, and Jeanne has family in South Wales-UK. We would like to spend up to 2 months in Townsville in the dry and a month in the wet. A home base in South Wales, the Lakes District or the Cottswolds for a period of 2 weeks to 2 months would be desirable, preferabaly around Autumn or Spring, say in a bungalow or cottage in a quiet location in a small to mid sized town. Access to a heated public swimming pool is almost mandatory for us, say within a 30 minute drive. Exchanges can be sequential or non-sequential.<br>
