We are retired school teachers. We have three married children and five grandchildren. We love to travel; to meet people; and to explore new places. We are keen photographers and love kayaking and motorcycling. We have taught in Canada and the USA on teacher exchanges and in Myanmar. Over the years we have hosted many international exchange students. We respect people and their belongings. We will look after your home as if it were ours.

Our home is an open planned house on an elevated, forested 10 acres (4.5Ha) with extensive views of the Solitary Islands and the Pacific Ocean. Wallabies and a wide variety of birds are frequent visitors to the gardens. We are approximately 3 kilometres from the the beach by road. It is a 5 kilometre drive to Woolgoolga, our nearest shopping centre, where you will find supermarkets, banks, restaurants, cafes etc.

Sandy Beach is a coastal village 20 kms north of Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales. It is situated in a popular tourist area with a subtropical climate & beautiful sandy beaches which fringe the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Our home is approximately 3 kilometres from the the beach by road. It is a 5 kilometre drive to Woolgoolga, our nearest shopping centre where you will find supermarkets, banks, restaurants, cafes etc.

Sandy Beach is a beautiful quiet beach. You are often the only person in sight. We have surfboards for the use of our guests. Great surfing to be had at many beaches along the coast, all within 10kms.
Whale watching in season from the headlands or from special boats out of Coffs Harbour.
Rainforest walks in the hinterland. A variety of good golf courses in the area.
