We enjoyed our 2 week stay at Midway Point in January 2017. John & Jan left plenty of information re household appliances as well as tourist places to visit. Hobart has a lot to offer, without the hustle of other capital cities and there is so much appealing coastline on offer. We would recommend this house as a great house exchange.

Thank you we throughly enjoyed our stay. We were very comfortable in your home. The home is well situated for exploring Hobart and it's wonderful surroundings such as the historical village of Richmond and the renown Port Arthur Historical Site. We were able to visit the Salamanca Markets on two Saturday's which was an additional bonus. The markets have many unique and useful Tasmanian goods including handcrafted timber items, jewellery and food items. Such as their wonderful cheeses and honey. We really appreciate the opportunity to have had this exchange.

What a wonderful experience. This was our 11th exchange on a 6-month trip in Australia, & it was the perfect place to relax & finish our trip before heading back home. Their daughter & husband were so nice to pick us up at the airport and welcome us -- and take us back to the airport 3 weeks later, very early in the morning! A jewel of a daughter. The house was so comfortable, we just felt right at home -- especially enjoyed fresh strawberries from the garden. The location was great, in a quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to Hobart & centrally located to explore much of Tasmania. And "explore" we did -- north, south, east & west. We tried to see it all. We especially liked Strahan, Cradle Mt., & Bruny Island. But, we also thoroughly enjoyed Port Arthur and the coastline, the falls at Mt. Field National Park, Ross, Salamanca Market, the penguins at Bicheno, Wine Glass Bay, and just driving through the countryside, observing the sheep & cattle. Totally awesome!
