Carol Klinger and Anthony Garrett originally come from Berkeley/San Francisco but have lived in Washington, DC for over 25 years. Carol is a broadcast journalist and focuses a great deal on international relations. Anthony works for an international non-profit working to support independent media and internet freedom. We enjoy intense exercise workouts, reading, long walks, friends, parties, the lively politics of Washington, D.C.

Our Cape Cod-style home is in a friendly safe peaceful neighborhood in Washington, D.C. The home has a lot of character in a good way. In the warm weather, we really enjoy the large screened porch, as well as the reading room and tv room. We have a lot of art on the walls that makes our home very welcoming. Lots of trees and greenery on the property. It's not grand fashion but it is a very comfortable environment. Only one block from a large grocery store, restaurants, amazing book store and a classic movie theater close by. Lots of parking on the street, close to the metro and buses.

Our neighborhood, Chevy Chase, DC is beautiful and friendly. Only 4 miles from the White House, it's easy to get anywhere by Metro, car or bus. We are also only one block from tasty restaurants and cafes. At the same time, it's peaceful and quiet. There's a very good farmer's market nearby, a full service grocery store. Also only a few blocks from an historic movie theater and America's most successful independent book stores. We've lived here 27 years and are grateful for our friendly, helpful neighbors. Lots of trees and lovely gardens. And very near one of the largest parks in urban America.

Chevy Chase, D.C. is a wonderful peaceful neighborhood that is only 4 miles from the White House, all the great museums, Kennedy Center, and other entertainment. We also are one block from a large grocery store, some very good restaurants, Starbucks, and a classic independent movie theater. We are a short walk to the metro and there is a bus stop one block away.

We have a lovely old home in a lovely neighborhood we have worked hard to maintain and improve. We think it would be a great home for a couple who wants to experience our nation's capital. We are looking for non-smokers who are not looking for something fancy but will leave the home the way they found it. We get along with our friendly neighbors and value those relationships.
