Flensburg is at the coastline of the baltic sea and has many historical buildings. It is a sailors paradise and fantastic for everybody who loves outdoor activities and beautiful nordic landscapes. There are plenty of things to do nearby or also in a short distance.
Hamburg (1,5h by car), Legoland Billund (1,25h by car) and Kopenhagen (2,5h by car) are reachable very quickly as well as other European or Scandinavian destinations.

A very cosy 70 year old home near the beach (fjord) and the city. From our home it is only a 5min walk to the next beach and there is a wonderful path on the coastline across the danish boarder. The furniture and interior is simple but comfortable and friendly. We have two wood stoves. One in the living room and one in the kitchen in addition to the central heating system. The house is powered by photovoltaic and solar heating systems.
