We are 2 adults which will travel normaly alone.
I, Petra work for the City of Fürth. Jürgen works as project manager with Siemens Healthineers . We love traveling, hiking, skiing and good food.
Sometimes our kids will travel with us. They are 20, 25 and 25 years old.
We have had a lot of good exchanges since 2001. We have visited Toronto, Banff, Quebec,Vancouver, Calgary, Kelowna in Canada, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Fransisco in California, Naples, Miami, Del Ray Beach, Bradenton in Florida, New York City, Vevey in Swiss.
Note: we do not have a washing machine in Erlangen

This is our second home.
Our apartment is located on the second floor in a newly renovated house. The city center can be reached within 15 minutes walking distance or by bus.
There is a master bedroom (2 m x 2 m), an additional bedroom with two beds (doublebed 1,80 m x 2 m), a bathroom with bathtub, a gourmet kitchen, a livingroom, a diningroom and a sunny balcony with outdoor furniture.
Our gourmet kitchen is fully equiped with dishwasher, microwave, oven and fully automated coffee machine etc.
The diningroom provides enough space for 6 people.
The livingroom has a big TV screen and multi-purpose couch where als two people can sleep. Unfortunately we don`t have a washing machine but there are 2 washsaloons in walking distance.

Erlangen is a very nice town. You can find a lot of frankonian restaurants and micro breweries with beer gardens, where you can relax and enjoy the german living. Visite the botanical garden, castle garden, market place etc.
Nearby are a lot of historical cities like Nuremberg, 15 kilometers away, Fürth, Bayreuth, Rothenburg o.d.T., Bamberg, Amberg, Ingolstadt, Würzburg 80 km away with wine streets and other wine-cities like Dettelbach, Kitzingen, Volkach etc. and Munich 180 km away.
The Franconian Swiss is a wonderful place for hiking, biking, kanuing and climbing. The region is known for it's beautiful landscapes and beer gardens. You will find 170 castles and ruins. There are three big looking caves with stalactites and stalagmites. Nice towns like Forchheim, Ebermannstadt, Pottenstein, Gößweinstein etc.
