Wir haben eine sehr gelungene Woche in Chemnitz verbracht. Das Haus liegt direkt an einem Park und in einem sehr schönen Viertel, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr kommt man von hier aus überall schnell hin. Chemnitz hat viele interessante und sehenswerte Ecken und wir haben auch Ausflüge ins nahegelegene Erzgebirge und nach Dresden unternommen. Danke für diesen Haustauch! Sonja, Thomas und Matthias

Our family of 5 (2 adults + 3 kids) enjoyed summer vacation to the fullest. Cozy apartment, much to see in the area, great weather and very friendly neighbours. Exchange family was always welcoming and helpful.

We stayed a week in the house of Jan, Yvonne and Yara. We felt home from the first moment: warm welcome, clean house and everything what we need... The communication with Jan was very good and everything went as agreed. Chemnitz is an interesting town with lot of things to do (historic, cultural and restaurants) and we made some day-outs p.a. to Leipzig. Unfortunately the weather wasn't at his best. But It was good to be home and to read a book. We enjoyed it. When we came home, our own house was in the same condition as we left it. Great. This was a home-exchange as it should be: a pleasant experience.

We had an amazing stay in Ian, Yvonne and Yara's home in Chemnitz.The flat itself was very bright and welcoming, and located in a beautiful house with a vast and pleasant shared garden and friendly neighbours. Our kids had a great time having fun in the sandbox and on the swings, and playing with the toys Yara had kindly left in the apartment. We loved that there was a huge forest just on the other side of the street (and the little train was a highlight!) and spent lots of time there - jogging for adults, playing on the trampolines and wooden train for children. Ian and Yvonne had left a very complete guide of Chemnitz and surroundings, and we followed many of their recommandations. The city itself was very interesting to visit, with many good attractions and museums for the kids, and nice restaurants. Many thanks to Yvonne, Ian and Yara for this beautiful exchange (and the delicious strawberries on the balcony!)
