The appartment is close to the Viktoria Luise Platz - where in summer often people enjoy the sun. There are 2 playgrounds close to the appartment - you can see them from the flat.
The neighborhood is very mixed, a lot of families, children, but also older people. Not far away there are different nightlife districts (Nollendorfplatz, Tauentzien and if you use the U1 you are very good connected to Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain) - although you don't realize that during daytime.
There are also a lot of great and delicious restaurants close buy as well as the Kurfürstendamm where you can go shopping or take one of the buses for tourist attractions.
From the Nollendorfplatz (7 min. walk) you have connections in every direction via the subway (U1 direction Charlottenburg and Kreuzberg, U2 direction Prenzlauer Berg and west of Berlin, U3 direction Krumme Lanke and Grunewald, U4 direction Innsbrucker Platz and therewith connection to the S-Bahn). Directly close to the appartment you have the subway "Viktoria Luise Platz" where you get connection to Nollendorfplatz and to Bayrischer Platz (U7) as well as Innsbrucker Platz (S-Bahn). There is also a Bus station close by (bus M46 - to train station Südkreuz among others).
