Hello everyone! We (Jessica and Christoph) got married in 2010 and are working as journalists in Berlin. Our home is a spacious apartment (114 square meters or 1230 square feet) on the fourth floor of a beautifully kept building in the middle of Prenzlauer Berg, the trendy center of Berlin. It lies on the lively Kastanienallee, a street full of shops and cafés, but is hidden away in the "Hinterhaus" (rear building), so you are away from the hoopla of the street. The apartment is on the fourth floor, so it gets a lot of light - but don't worry, there is an elevator, so you don't have to take the stairs each time.

Our apartment is decorated in a modern style with wooden floors everywhere (except in the kitchen and the bathroom). One of the two bathrooms has a tub/shower. It has four rooms (bedroom, study, study/2nd bedroom, living room), plus the kitchen and two bathrooms and a balcony, so there is a lot of place to hang out.
The kitchen is fully-equipped with electric stove, dishwasher, washing mashine, fridge, electric water kettle, coffee maker and so on. There are two desks if you need to get some work done and high-speed internet available via cable or WLAN. The main bedroom is furnished with a queensize bed, in another room there is a comfortable sleeping couch for two (queen size).
Public transport and two nice parks are just around the corner.
