Evimiz

Degisim için önerdigimiz ev hakkinda

The suburb where I live is part of the world famous university town of Heidelberg. My flat is situated 3 km from the historic city centre of Heidelberg. It's up on a hill directly looking down onto the picturesque valley of the river Neckar. Getting into Heidelberg is easy: it's a 6 minute walk to the next bus stop and then it takes about 20 minutes to get to Heidelberg itself along a scenic route following the river. Or if you have your bikes with you, it's first downhill for about 300 metres and then a wonderful ride along the river.

My flat feels cosy, spacious and is light-filled. Its most striking feature are the views from every window. The views from my living room window are really spectacular. My flat consists of 2,5 rooms in 80 square meters. It sleeps two adults in the bedroom and another two in the living room, if need be. Kitchen, dining room and living room sort of flow into each other. You can cook your meals and enjoy the views at the same time - especially lovely at night with all the lights! There's also quite a spacious balcony. In the summer the place is in the shade thanks to the neighbouring trees and feels lovely and cool.

Heidelberg is world -famous for its university, its old historic city centre and above all its castle. My flat is ideally located: It's situated in a suburb that has a feel of an old village. It's called Ziegelhausen. You can enjoy some peace and quiet surrounded by wooded hills. At the same time it's easy to get into Heidelberg to do some sightseeing, shopping or clubbing. There are buses and trains. Living here actual ly feels more rural than suburbian. The air is fresh and clean. There's always a breeze because of the valley. It's literally a two minute walk up into the woods from my place. You have an endless choice of hikes for any length of time. You could e.g. walk to the next little town on the river Neckar (Neckargemünd) and take the train back. Or you can walk for several hours without meeting hardly anybody (maybe other dog walkers). After a 5 minute walk down the hill my neighbourhood supplies you with everything you need, there are little shops, a bank, a pharmacy, an optician, a post office and the like. Aldi is 1 km away, another large supermarket is just across the river, the train station is a 10 minute walk and within view of my living room window.

Evimizde kalirken gitmek için yerler ve şeyler için ipuçlari

Heidelberg is world -famous for its university, its old historic city centre and above all its castle. You can all sorts of "touristy" things - they are too numerous to mention here. A must-see is the castle with its grounds and wonderful views onto the historic town. Really enjoyable is furthermore a boat trip up the river Neckar (passing the house where my flat is) to Neckargemünd/Neckarsteinach.
If you like shopping the Hauptstraße (high street) is the obvious choice. If you'd like to get away from the crowds, I would suggest you walk sort of parallell to the Hauptstraße: Plöck is lovely with all sorts of individual shops and little restaurants; also Untere Straße with some stylish eating places and individualistic clothes' shops. Alte Brücke of course is also a must.
If you decide to change flats with me, you can tell me more about your preferences and I'll do my best to supply you with relevant information.
Do you like open-air swimming pools? Then I would recommend a 4 km drive down the river Neckar. It has opportunities for kids, a "normal" pool for adults plus one with natural water, not chlorinated. There are also diving platforms. Everything looks either green or blue, on the ground as well as the area surrounding you. It's very well kept and you feel very close to nature.
Please see below as to recommendations for special places to eat out. As to cafés and bars - they are way too numerous to pick some! However: When in the old part of town, do try one of the ice cream parlours. I'm extremely fond of ice-cream and Heidelberg feels like heaven! There are old-fashioned parlours and quite a few exquisite new ones with a whole variety of special, high quality ice cream, vegan and everything.

Tercihlerimiz

Nelerden hoşlanırız, hoşlanmayiz, ev kurallarimiz

My family and I have embarked on our first house exchange with HomeLink in the year 2001. We have enjoyed about a dozen house exchanges all over Europe and in the States. Meanwhile my children have flown the nest, my husband has remarried and I've left our old place to start anew in Heidelberg. On my own, with our old family dog. So this is a new era of house exchange for me - it's not our large family home any more, but an 80 square meter-flat.

The flat is one of three in a house built on a hill overlooking the river Neckar. To avoid misunderstandings I'm sorry having to say that the most important thing for my neighbours is their peace and quiet. Please respect their great desire for quiet and privacy. This is my first shot at an exchange in a rented flat. Should my neighbours complain to my landladyt, she might put an end to it. So it's essential for me that you're aware of how important this is for me. Thank you!

The house which is divided into three rented flats was built in 1964. It's situated on a hill and because of this there are 27 steps downwards to get into my flat. Once there, my flat is nice and cosy, light and airy. The windows are large and let in a lot of light. In the summer it's nice and cool because of the neighbouring trees and a large roof. There's also a pretty big balcony. You can enjoy a splendid view of the river Neckar.

I can easily accomodate 4 adults: there's room for two in the bedroom, and for another two guest on the couch in the living room. Children are very welcome. However, I don't own any toys any more, sorry! Dogs are also very welcome.

I am looking for a house exchange for myself and my dog. He is 12 years old, very friendly and well behaved. He's very furry but doesn't shed any hair. All I need is a good vacuum cleaner. It would be nice if you had room for up to 3 adults because one or two of my grown children might want to accompany me. It would be wonderful if your home was close to the sea and had a garden to go with it.

As to plants, I only have a few indoor plants to take care of. Nothing to worry about.
