What a pleasure to discover Catalonia, whose cultural and historical richness are not limited to the seaside. And what a pleasure above all to stay in a large ancestral house full of charm and to sleep in the center of an old village rocked by the sound of the bell tower. Philippa and Lluis, with whom we had the pleasure of sharing a meal, are adorable and greeted us with a lot of kindness. Access to Barcelona (among others) is easy with the fast train from Girona, and the sea is not so far when you want to vary the pleasures. A successful experience in every way. Gràcies per la vostra benvinguda i fins aviat as we say in Catalan!

We had a wonderful time staying in Philippa and Lluis' lovely Spanish home. We were warmly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in the local village culture. The home was well located in Celra (outside Girona) for many spectacular day trips and the holiday home in Llanca was exactly what we were looking for to relax and unwind by the sea! We were saddened to leave such a cosy existence and loved looking after Big Red and Pom (the cats)! We do not have any hesitation in recommending Philippa and Lluis as potential visitors and/or hosts! We've maintained contact with Philippa and Lluis and look forward to seeing them either in Australia or Spain in the future!
