Our home is comfortable, sunny, safe and located 1.5km from the lovely village of Clarinbridge and 15mins to Galway City – European City of Culture 2020. We're just a 5 minute walk to the ocean. This is really a place to relax, unwind and feel at home. We've a large garden with plenty of room to play, relax and dine outside. Downstairs there's a double bedroom with en suite, childrens bedroom with single bed, smaller childrens room with single room, main bathroom, living room, kitchen/dining room and sunroom. Upstairs is the master bedroom with kingsize bed, and ensuite, and a home office with a single bed and additional roll out single bed. Our home is no smoking. Galway city, The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Connemara, Aran Islands are all close by - great location!
Our home is 1hr 15min drive from Knock Airport, 50mins from Shannon Airport, Cork and Dublin Airports are under 2.5 hours drive.
We have an Opal Astra Tourer Estate to offer if you are interested in car exchange. We are 2 adults and 3 boys (17,13,11) Our home is 15 mins drive from vibrant, cultural Galway... AND we are on The Wild Atlantic Way!!

We live on a quite lane with beautiful expansive views and our home is just a 5 minute walk to the ocean and on Irelands Wild Atlantic Way.
The house is just 1.5km from our local village of Clarinbridge where you'll find grocery shop, pubs, cafes, restaurants, antique shop, home shop, pharmacy, healthfood shop, boutique, garden centre, gorgeous woodland and riverside walks, playground etc. Clarinbridge is home to the famous Oyster Festival, a sea side village within an hours drive of Connemara and on the doorstep of the amazing Burren landscape and Co. Clare. The town of Oranmore is 8mins drive and here you will find Aldi, Lidl, Tesco, Cinema, sailing and of course more oubs and restaurants!
If you're feeling brave you can have a refreshing swim or just watch the local fishermen and oyster catchers out in the bay. This is really a place to relax, unwind and feel at home.
Irelands cultural heart Galway City is just 20 minutes drive away, with its cobbled streets, traditional music and superb nightlife and restaurants. There's plenty on offer... hiking, golf, fishing, sailing, heritage sites, museum, galleries, theatres, aquarium, swimming and playgrounds ( our nearest playground is just a 5 min drive and is in a beautiful wooded parkland).

Galway City is just 20 minutes drive away, with its cobbled streets, traditional music and superb nightlife and restaurants. There's plenty on offer... hiking, golf, fishing, sailing, heritage sites, museum, galleries, theatres, aquarium, swimming and playgrounds ( the nearest to our house is just a 5 min drive and is in a beautiful wooded parkland).
We live on the Wild Atlantic Way and within easy driving distance from our home you have an incredible choice of places to visit... The Burren National Park is just 20 mins south west and has fantastic hiking with ruins older than the pyramids and is amazing for hillwalks and sea sports. Also in the Burren are the Cliffs of Moher and the Ailwee Caves, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park are 45mins away. There's a surf school in Lahinch if you feel like catching some Atlantic waves!
The Galway International Arts Festival is on every July and is always wonderful with plenty of art, music, theatre. dance and street theatre. There are lots of free family events too. Have a look at the website for this years line up:

Connemara is also within easy driving distance to the North and no visit to Galway would be complete without taking in that breathtaking landscape. The Aran Islands are accessible by boat from Galway city or from Doolin just south of us in Co. Clare.
