We live in the beautiful village of Malahide. From the house it is 3km, a nice 30 minute stroll or few minutes by car, there is also a bus service that runs every 20 minutes. Malahide is a vibrant seaside village with lots of restaurants, cafe's, bars as well as shops and supermarkets. Malahide Castle is just beside the village and is set on 250 acres of parkland, it has Avoca cafe, walking trails, large play ground. There are 2 beaches close by Malahide beach and portmarnock beach. Newbridge demesne house and farm has beautiful walks and cafe and playground also. It is 10 minute drive from the house. Dublin city centre is accessible by train or bus or is a30 minute drive.
Our house is in a quiet cul de sac in the residential area of seabury. We are beside (5min walk) broad meadow estuary that has walks and small playground, church and centra.
