We loved our exchange and the house was perfect in everyway. Close to many of the attractions and very comfortable. We loved their dog and cat and would highly recommend the Sheehan’s home in Bunclody. Big, beautiful and hard to leave Ireland

We had the most wonderful stay at the Sheehan family home during our Irish heat wave. Everything was exactly as described and communication with Alison prompt and helpful. The children loved playing in the large garden, zip line and using the gymnastics bar. We adopted Mia and Maisie for the week and this was a bit hit. As we were fortunate with the weather we visited beaches in Wexford and Wicklow, including Curracloe and Brittas. There is so much to see and do in the area, that we only scratched the surface. Thank you Alison, Mark & family for the using if your beautiful home.

We had an amazing week in Alison and Mark's stunning house. The house was immaculate and extremely comfortable. There is so much to do in the local area - a week was not long enough! From castles, living history museums and golf courses, there is just so much to do - we even visited the world's oldest intact lighthouse. We loved looking after their beautiful dog and cat. We had a wonderful holiday staying in the Sheehans home in Bunclody. The house is fantastic. It is so spacious and was ideal for our family. The setting is spectacular. Beautiful views in a very peaceful area, a stones throw from town. This home is perfectly set up for families. My kids loved it. There is so much to do in Wexford. It is a super place to holiday. Huge thanks to Alison. She couldn't have been more helpful. It really was a wonderful home swap.

We had a wonderful time in Bunclody Co.Wexford. The Sheehan's home is magnificent and is situated in one of the most picturesque spots one could imagine. The views of mountains and countryside are quite breathtaking. The house itself is luxurious with all bedrooms ensuite. The kitchen and living area is a large bright open room very suitable for families. The garden offers plenty of space with great toys to go with it like trampoline, go carts, bikes and goals. Our kids just loved it. The locals in Bunclody are a friendly sort and there's plenty of fun things to do also. We visited Altamont gardens for lovely walks, Huntington Castle for the castle tour and even dropped into the local open air swimming pool, which the kids enjoyed. Kia Ora mini farm is a half hour away and offers go carts, diggers, mazes and a petting zoo - we spent a great afternoon there. Another day we visited Curracloe beach where part of the movie 'Saving Private Ryan' was filmed. It's about a 40 minute drive and is perhaps the nicest beach in Ireland - very soft sand, good facilites, parking and very clean. On our return home we found our house to be in excellent condition - just as we left it. Alison was very easy to deal with and left thorough instructions and guidelines about how the house work along with ideas about where to eat, visit and so on. This was a very pleasant exchange indeed. The Sheehan's are a lovely family and we offer them our thanks for the great time we had.

Thank you Alison & Mark for making our first ever exchange so welcoming & easy. From first contact Alison was so good at communication & very pragmatic. The house in Bunclody has beautiful views overlooking the mountains & we enjoyed local walks with their very well behaved dogs. The house was perfect for us & our two boys- very high quality & very clean & tidy. There were plenty of toys & books & Alison left us a lovely meal & little gifts for the boys. We visited family in the area & plenty of tourist spots including the excellent Irish National Heritage Centre (brilliant funny guided tour ideal for kids), also the oldest lighthouse in the world & several historic buildings. Even the weather was good! Would highly recommend the Sheeban family & their home for a very warm welcome in a beautiful, comfortable & relaxing location. Thank you!

We enjoyed an excellent few days in Alison and Mark’s beautiful home. It is modern and luxurious but also really comfortable and homely, especially with the wood-burning fires lit in the evenings. The view towards Mount Leinster is lovely and Bunclody itself has all that we needed. Overall, the perfect base for exploring County Wexford and beyond.

This was our first home exchange, and it couldn't have gone any better! The Sheehan's home was wonderful. Our kids immediately fell in love with all of their toys, garden, and very gentle dog Charlie that came to visit us every so often. Even though we were in the countryside, there were plenty of wonderful places to visit within a short drive. We enjoyed the quiet of the countryside while still being able to see all of the location attractions. We were event invited to go fly fishing by their neighbor, a truly unforgettable experience. Upon return our home was exactly as we left it, making it easy to slip right in after a long long day of travel. Loved it!
