We live in the country, 2 miles from the town of Ballinamore, County Leitrim. It is peaceful, but not secluded as we live in a close knit community of people. Our closest neighbours on either side of our house would be across a field. We have a view of a mountain fro our front door, and our house is set in a field. We have lots of space for children to play. We have a trampoline, bikes, and exercise equipment available too. There are a number of lakes nearby for fishing, swimming and picnicking. The town of Carrick On Shannon which is 20 minutes drive from our home, has lots of shopping, pretty restaurants, a theatre, and summer festivals each year. There is also horseback riding, a public swimming pool, golfing, and hiking available locally. 1 hours drive away, there is a beach, wind surfing and scuba diving along with more shopping and fabulous restaurants. There are also historical sights to see in our area.
