L'appartement des Couet est confortable et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Étant venu en transport public, il est idéalement situé proche des gares routières et ferroviaires. Nous pouvons rejoindre le centre de la vieille ville très rapidement à pieds. Nous avons apprécié les bons conseils concernant les restaurants et visites environnantes. Nous avons bien retrouvé notre maison dans l'état que nous l'avions laissée.
Large family home close to Avignon centre
Our family of five had a wonderful stay in Fabien & Stéphanie's home in the centre of Avignon. Communication with Fabien was so helpful with lots of suggestions for our family. The home is exactly as described, artistic, lots of toys, air-con (very thankful due to August heatwave) and we enjoyed meals on the terrace as well as in the historic city of Avignon, a short walk thanks to recommendations from Fabien. Although a city break for 2 weeks, we enjoyed the culture on offer, Helios festival (Light show at night), the food markets, narrow streets, cafes, people watching, eating at place des corps- Saints, ice cream at 10 pm at la Princiere d'Avignon, the 5km run around the Ramparts, Palais des papes. There is so much on offer in Provence that we feel we could easily have spent a month. Our kids loved Stade Natique Avignon where we spent many afternoons and felt like locals, Pirate land, Wave Island, lac de Monteux, Nimes, Le Pont du Gard, Fête votive Madeleine at Chateaurenard & the highlight a soccer match at the Orange Aerodrome to watch Marseille. Thank you for all the wonderful recommendations which led us to places we would not have known as tourists. We swapped our cars which was perfect. Merci Beaucoup, from the Broderick family. Notre famille de cinq personnes a passé un merveilleux séjour dans la maison de Fabien & Stéphanie au centre d'Avignon. La communication avec Fabien a été très utile avec de nombreuses suggestions pour notre famille. La maison est exactement comme décrit, artistique, beaucoup de jouets, air conditionné (très reconnaissant en raison de la canicule d'août) et nous avons apprécié les repas sur la terrasse ainsi que dans la ville historique d'Avignon, à quelques pas grâce aux recommandations de Fabien. Bien qu'un séjour en ville pendant 2 semaines, nous avons apprécié la culture proposée, le festival Helios (spectacle de lumière la nuit), les marchés alimentaires, les rues étroites, les cafés, les gens qui regardent, manger à la place des corps-Saints, glaces à 22h à la Princière d'Avignon, la course de 5km autour des Remparts, Palais des papes. Il y a tellement de choses à offrir en Provence que nous pensons que nous aurions facilement pu y passer un mois. Nos enfants ont adoré le Stade Natique Avignon où nous avons passé de nombreux après-midi et nous nous sommes sentis comme des locaux, Pirate land, Wave Island, lac de Monteux, Nîmes, Le Pont du Gard, Fête votive Madeleine à Châteaurenard et le point culminant d'un match de football à l'Aérodrome d'Orange à regarder Marseille. Merci pour toutes les merveilleuses recommandations qui nous ont conduits dans des endroits que nous n'aurions pas connus en tant que touristes. Nous avons échangé nos voitures, ce qui était parfait. Merci pour cet échange que nous avons aimé. Avignon est une ville animée et il fait bon y flâner pour visiter musées, jardins, mais aussi s'y divertir car de nombreux restaurant, théâtre et cinémas. L'appartement de Stéphanie et Fabien est spacieux, confortable et bien situé. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par leur super voisine. Nous avons pu visiter certains des sites alentours conseillés par Fabien, comme le pont du Gard, St Rémy de Provence, L'Ile sur la Sorgue. Il reste encore beaucoup à voir dans cette belle région. Nous reviendrons.
great place in a great city !
We had a swap beginning of november, and that is really Provence at its best. So we thoroughly enjoyed the large terrasse, and the apartment in general. Lots of space, 2 bathrooms, very near the historic center : we couldn't ask for more. Thanks !

Nous avons adoré nos vacances à Avignon, l'appartement de Fabien et Stéphanie est très confortable et très bien situé. Ils ont tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable, nous conseillant sur des sites à visiter ou de bons restaurants; nous avons beaucoup apprécié leur disponibilité pour répondre à nos demandes, et leur engagement pour que cet échange se déroule à merveille. Nous leur sommes également reconnaissants d'avoir pris soin de notre jardin et congelé nos légumes, et d'avoir retrouvé notre maison impeccable à l'arrivée!

Great apartment and brilliant location!
Our family with two kids spent two summer weeks in Stéphanie's and Fabien's extraordinary apartment in Avignon. Although being in a city, we had a relaxing and peaceful time, due to the cosy beauty of the huge, quiet and sunny apartment. Architecture, cafés, shops, activities for children, museums - Avignon is a really interesting and beautiful city full of culture and multifarious activities. Beautiful narrow alleys (Rue des Teinturiers!), romantic squares (Place des Corps Saints!) and many cosy little cafes made us feel being just in the right place. Our kids loved the trip in Avignon's big wheel, the small train through the town, the unlimited possibilities to go swimming near Avignon (e.g. at Pont du Gard), the extraordinary exhibition of "Carrières de Lumières" - and of course they loved to play in their swapping children's room with so many new toys! We even had the opportunity to see a theatrical play for children within the annual Avignon Festival. The apartment is located near to the center, close to public transport, supermarkets, shops, cafés and restaurants. All in the apartment had been perfectly prepared for us and we had a warm welcome by a friendly relative. The tasteful decoration of the maisonette apartment and the large terrace are just some of the reasons why we fell in love with our swapping home. Before and during our stay, we had a close communication with Fabien - with many helpful tips that enriched our holidays in many ways. We also swapped the car with the family and all worked out without any problems. On our return, we found our apartment in a perfect condition. Thank you so much for this wonderful home swap experience! We heartily recommend this nice Homelink family - their apartment is the ideal point of departure to explore Avignon and the Provence and a perfect nest to relax after an exhausting tourist day.
Très bel appartement idéalement situé
Merci pour ce bel échange. Votre duplex à 10 minutes à pieds du centre d'Avignon est ultra bien situé et très fonctionnel. Nous avons sillonné dans toute votre magnifique région : la fontaine de Vaucluse, Uzes, Arles, le Pont du Gard, Gordes, Marseille et ses calanques... que de chose à voir! Grand appartement à quelques pas du centre.
L'appartement de Fa bien et Stéphanie est agréable et très grand.Nos filles ont eu l'embarras du choix pour trouver les jouets de leur rêve. Avignon est une ville chargée d'histoire tout comme la région. Merci pour votre accueil et pour les lieux que vous nous avez suggérés. Rendez-vous à Bordeaux quand vous voulez!
