Easy access to the city centre. 100m to Tony's, excellent supermarket, a perfect picture of this interesting neighborhood with foods from all over the world. Would deserve an anthropological research ;-). Two lovely cats, Esther and Rupert. We still miss them.
Thanks for the great exchange! Hope your kitties are fine. We were very comfortable in your home and would readily exchange again sometime! Warmest regards, Gina and Howard
Very Nice Appartment for visiting Chicago, 10 minutes walk from L-train directly to the Loop (count on 45 minutes from apartment to center). We loved the opportunity to really live in Chicago in a nice neighbourhood. Adored shppping for groceries at Tony's andthe vivid musical scene in Chicago. We missed bikes, but there's nearby a Bike-Rental post of the good "BlueBike"-system of Chicago. Take two days for the Art Institute if you're into art (or go on a Thursday, when it's longer open ..). And you get some nice cats to play with in the appartment. Also a great collection of Baseballbooks of Jim, nice, if you're into baseball, which is apparently unavoidable in Chicago, with the Chicago Cubs nearby and the White Sox on the other side of town ...
This home in Lincoln Square exposed us to an area of Chicago we had not been in. Very impressed with the ethnic restaurants and shopping available nearby. the home was great for us to relax after a long day and easy to get around. We would certainly consider this location again as it was very close to our daughter. I would recommend this location for visitors to Chicago.
