Dear Dominique, we are very happy to have exchanged with you. Your house was big enough for us 6. We enjoyed playing ping pong in the garden. The highlight was definitely Paris by night (if you leave by car at 21:30 by car, you will have a wonderful time in Paris, with only few people around. The Eiffel tour can be climbed without queuing!!). The cathedral in Chartres was also interesting. We enjoyed walking in the forest near your house and exploring Rambouillet. Thank you again for having left our house tidy and clean. All the best! Regards, Gerhards.
Dominique's home is beautiful and quirky with a great room with toys which our boys loved. The house also backs onto a field and football pitch which was perfect. There was lots to explore in the surrounding area and we didn't need to venture far. We found a great fresh water lake nearby to swim in with sand and the boys loved it. Rambouillet is a lovely town to walk around and the surrounding woodland is great. You are also close for Paris but we didn't make it there, we were too busy locally. A lovely holiday. Thank you.
Thank you very much for staying in your lovely home and garden. We had a very pleasant holiday and we will remember Rambouillet with joy!! Thank you Dominique!!
We had the perfect break at Dominique's house and we were made to feel very welcome by all the considerate gestures and messages. The house is really spacious and the surroundings were calm and relaxing. As well as being very handy for Paris we also managed some climbing at Fontainbleau and a trip to Versailles. A great holiday all round.
We felt very welcome in Rambouillet. We did not need to bring a lot of toys for our children because there is a big playroom upstairs. The house was clean with a full fridge, cosy fireplace and lots of touristic proposals. The neighborhood is very calm with several playgrounds and a big supermarket nearby. The children also loved it: we visited Versailles, espace Rambouillet, the castle and its gardens, ... The nature is beautiful in that area. We didn't even feel the need to visit Paris as there is enough to see in the area. The only aspect we had to get used to was the light in the rooms. We sleep in very dark rooms at home and it took us some days to get used to waking up in a bright room, but of course this is personnal. We really enjoyed our time at Dominique's place. She is a very warm and kind person. We would recommend it to everybody to swap with her. Ine Van den Berghe (Belgium)
