  Dear Oscar and Solveig, You have a very friendly, light and well situated house. With either bus or train you can be in Oslo in no time. And by car you can be on several beaches (sea or lakes) in a few minutes time. Norway is beautiful. We enjoyed taking care of your cat Malin. Our kids loved her! Thanks for the home swap.   In summer 2015 we spent two weeks here and had a great time! The house is in a quiet, green area in the small town Kolbotn next to Oslo. With staying there you can enjoy a wonderful combination of living in a beautiful, spacy house with a big garden in a green surrounding and exploring lively Oslo which is only 20 minutes away by car, train or bus. (So you could even stay at their place without a car.) What they don’t even mention in their profile is that there is the most beautiful lake just 10 minutes away from their house where you can go swimming, go on really nice hiking tours around the lake, discover small bays, collect blueberries… we really loved going there! The house itself is nice and big with lots of toys for the kids, a sandpit, a huge, light living room with big windows overlooking the area and a fireplace. We liked sitting there reading (or on the sunny veranda) a lot. And they have very nice neighbours too. So thanks again for everything, Oscar and Solvey!
