  • A French country location not to be missed!

Our stay in this lovely French country home could not have been better! The communication with Marie Therese and Rene prior to the exchange was timely and instructive, and upon our arrival in Paris we were met by a valet with their car! They arranged everything so smoothly that we felt instantly welcomed. Their beautiful home and gardens are in a great location, both for catching the short train ride into Paris right from their small town, and for exploring the various chateaux, palaces and castles nearby. For outdoor enthusiasts Fontainebleau is within driving distance, and we made it over to Normandy for a few days (a few hours drive) to visit the Normandy Beaches, and to see the lovely Mont St. Michele on the coast. It was a fairy tale trip to beautiful France. Merci Marie Therese and Rene, for the most wonderful French stay imaginable! And for making us and our small granddaughter feel so welcome in France and in your home. Bonjour, until (maybe?!) next time. Best to you - Karen and Casey (and family!)

  • Lovely family holiday in Beynes!

We've enjoyed our summer holiday in Beynes, in this beautiful home with our family (2 adults, 2 small children, 2 weeks). We loved the beautiful view from the (private) garden - with the jacuzzi outside as a very pleasant bonus! The neighborhood is calm, the supermarket etc. nearby and we made soms trips in the environment by car, f.e. to Versailles, Paris, the Zoo, miniature park. With beautiful sceneries along the way. The contact was also pleasant, therefore we would not hesitate to swap again!

  • Comfortable, welcoming French Flanders home.

A lovely home and garden with plum trees bursting with fruit. There's even a hot-tub for use after a hard days travelling. Ideally situated for visiting the battle fields of the First World War. Fascinating historical area not too far from Ypres Salient. Locally there's the working windmill at Templeuve en Pevele. Visit Chaptre VI or Rose Caffe for authentic Flanders Cuisine, if you get the opportunity try Le Welsh (Welshrarebit) it's proper yummy.
