• Netter Tausch nahe der Südheide

  Vieln Dank an unsere Gastgeber für den Tausch, welcher uns erlaubte, eine bislang unbekannte Gegend in Norddeutschland zu entdecken. Dabei haben uns vor allem die blühende Heidelandschaft und die hübschen Städte wie Celle und Goslar fasziniert, absolut eine Reise wert.

• A great exchange

  We exchanged homes with Michaela and her family this summer. The house was nice and tidy, with lots of fun toys and spacious bedrooms for the children as well as the adults. Michaela was very friendly and easy to communicate with and we got a lot of information and tips about things to do. The village of Mellendorf is very nice, and restaurants, supermarket and a bowlinghall is all within a few minutes walk from the house. Very convenient. Within 20 to 60 minutes drive you can also reach a lot of other places, as the city of Hannover, beaches and several amusement-parks just to mention some of it. We felt very welcome in their home and they were great hosts as well as guests in our house. We arrived home to a tidy and clean home. Thank you for a successful first home-exchange!

  We really enjoyed our holiday in Mellendorf, Wedemark. The house is spacious, comfortable and ideal for families. Wedemark is a beautiful area, very scenic and with lots to do. We are remembering already the great days we spent at the nearby lakes and at the Spassbad, the local outdoor swimming pool. Some delightful local restaurants too; we especially like Zum Eichenkrug. The location is a great base for visiting Celle, Hannover, Hamburg and Berlin. We loved each of those cities in different ways. And we had a fantastic day at Heidepark Soltau, the roller coaster park. Michaela and Lars, many thanks for your warm and generous welcome to your home, and for looking after our home so well. And it was wonderful to meet you at the airport at the end of the holiday!

  We were verry much helped by you in organising the exhange. From making a portfolio to talking about how things work. And the exchange itself was wonderfull: the house was verry clean, tidy, lots of toys and presents for the kids. We liked the visit to the Hannover Zoo al lot! The hippo's mostly! All the contacts with you were positive en we look back to a verry nice first exchange. It helped us to choose for more exchanges.

• A great place in which to live

  We discover this home and it's surroundings with a lot of pleasure ! Nice home to live with a little garden and a village with all amenities : delicious restaurants, bakeries, nice playground and shops. And so many things to visit in Hannover : the summer feast, the royal gardens of Herrenhausen, the pedestrian Streets and so on. We have than such a pleasure to discover some villages like Celle and his timberhouses, Hildesheim and his beautiful old town and church or the beautiful Marienburg castle. Thanks a lot for your welcome and your kindness :-) !
