• Relaxing stay in a cosy, foodie home and a cool ci

  We had a great stay in Diane and Arjeh's home. It’s a very well equipped house, with the superb kitchen and house-wide music system being special highlights. It’s situated in Tuindorp which means "garden village" and it lives up to that being a green and cosy neighbourhood showing the best of Dutch living. The nearby Griftpark is a real gem, our little girl loved the petting zoo. Utrecht city centre is just a short bike ride away which we really enjoyed spending time in, as it’s like a compact version of Amsterdam with all the canals, culture and independents shops, just without the hordes of tourists of the likes who are drawn to Amsterdam by the Red Light District. The family also left our house in a nice and tidy state, so all in all we had a great swapping experience!
