The appartment is small and basic, but a nice place to visit Prague. Location is very good, tram- and busstop in front of the house, a number of cafés, bakeries and restaurants in the neighborhood.
You couldn't find a better location from which to explore Prague. Although compact, Martina's flat was certainly adequate and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. There are wonderful restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and we tried them all!
We stayed for 17 days in Martina’s Prague apartment. The great things about this exchange: 1. Martina: she is very responsible and responsive, easy to work with and our friends who met her were all crazy about her joyful spirited personality. She left our home as clean as we keep it. 2. The location of her apartment: I was worried because the apartment is on a busy street that it would be noisy. It is on the inside and you cannot hear the street—but you can jump on the frequent tram that stops directly in front of her apartment and be at the main tourist sites in 15 minutes; the wonderful botanical garden in 10; and many tram and metro transfer stops nearby. Also, the area is nice to walk around with parks and the most highly recommended Czech restaurant in Prague a block away. 3. Her apartment is very cool during the day and evening. We were there when there was a heat wave and the morning sun comes into the apartment and then is gone for the rest of the day, keeping the apartment very comfortable. 4. While her apartment is not large, you have everything you need in working order and nearby, and your cleanup is easy. It worked out very well for our needs. We often went out in the mornings, came back during the heat of the day, and because of the location, were able to go out easily again in the evening.
