  My husband and I spent a wonderful week in Aptos, California. Our house was quite comfortable and we had everything we needed, but the real treat was the amazing backyard garden. It was so lovely and comfortable that it was hard to leave the property to explore the surroundings! We did make it to a half dozen state parks, through countless redwood groves, and Monterey, Santa Cruz, Captitola. We found great hiking and/or biking everywhere we went. Aptos is a quaint and quiet enclave with tremendous access to the parks. Thanks, Louise! We had a great time!
