We live in a largely family orientated neighbourhood. The city centre is a 20-30 minute walk through Victoria Park, passing the Royal Crescent or a 5-10 minute bus/taxi journey. There is a thriving street within 150 yards of our house that offers cafes, a vegetarian cafe/restaurant, a Thai restaurant, a bakery, a small supermarket, a barber, a fish & chip shop, hardware store etc. There is also a larger supermarket within 10 minutes walk and various others within 10 minutes drive.
Nearby facilities including rowing, paddle boarding, sailing, cycling (with good cycle paths nearby, by the river). We have 5 good bikes. 4 adult and one for a 7-10 year old. One Ribble roadie, one YT Jeffsy MTB one Specialized hybrid, a Schwinn hardtail MTB and a front sus kids bike. World class MTB riding can be reached in South Wales within 90 minutes at Bike Park Wales or CymCarn.
