Our apartment is located in a quiet part of Berlin( the lake is only a few minutes away..7min. walk...there you can take a boot for a sightseeing tour into the inner city or potsdam for example)
Its nevertheless close to the underground witch takes you into the inner city...there are although many different buses. To the airport its about 20min. by car.
The next shopping mall is a 3min. walk...
The lake is surrounded by woods...you can go swimming and walk for hours. There are possibilities to rent a boot or as I said before, take a boot to downtown or other sights.
