It was a great swap with Marysia & Barney. Our communications were friendly and smooth. We loved talking to them and sharing our discoveries, and were good advice. Their big beautiful home is well located, 15 minutes walking from Oxford's center. Oxford is one of the best city to stay in England. A city rich in English architecture (all styles since the year 1000), very near from London, Wales, Devon (Bath, Burford and Highclere = Downton Abbey !). Magnificent countryside arround, very soothing. Definitely an exchange to make and redo.

Very well located at the gates of the old town of Oxford, Marysia and Barney's house was perfect for our discoveries. Its small green garden allowed us welcome tea breaks after the hustle and bustle of the city center in the company of the house's little cat who quickly adopted us. In addition, the provision of bicycles has made it easier for us to travel and widened our radius of action: the banks of the Thames, the canals and the historic center no longer have any secrets for us!!. Thank you for this beautiful exchange to our English friends.

This lovely home is well situated for a stay in Oxford and touring the Cotswolds. Barney and Marysia made every effort to make our visit comfortable and to facilitate our getting to know the surrounding area. Their family treated our home and vehicle with great care and left them spotless. We also felt that we were able to get to know them through the exchanges of photos and emails and hope to maintain a friendship, including visiting them again when we return to England.

We had a great time visiting such a beautiful and historic area. Oxford is a stunning city and the nearby Cotswolds are ' picture perfect'. The house manual and the information on the area were first class and we felt at home immediately, Thank you to all the family.

Thank you for the exchange. All four of us loved it - we might move to that part of town.

We really liked your spacious and comfortable house, ideally situated to discover Oxford. The city center with its colleges, museums, parks, and shops were all within walking distance. We did in fact a lot of walking - the suny weather at the beginning of April was an extra plus. We also enjoyed biking along the banks of the Thames and made an excursion to Stonehenge. It was a pitty we had to leave after one week - there was still so much to discover. Thank you Marysia and Barney for this splendid week in Oxford. We fully recommend your house!

in a very pleasant neighbourhood. We had a lot of fun in Oxford and really enjoyed the historic sights as well as the wonderful scenery. Barney and Marysia are very kind hosts and easy to get along with. The house was clean and very well kept and we felt very much at home there.
