We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teenage girls. Our holiday dates are determined by the school holidays.
Quentin works for an accountancy firm specialising in tax advice for expatriates. He has appeared on various TV quiz programs including Mastermind, University Challenge and 15 to 1. He also likes watching sport, especially the Olympics. Quentin is originally from Kent and studied at Cambridge.
Tara works for the same accountancy firm reviewing tax returns during the busy period July to January. She is also a school governor and likes being outside in the garden or climbing mountains. Tara is originally from The Cotswolds and studied at Bath.
Ellie is studying Anthropology and Archeology at Durham University. She loves music, cheerleading and rowing.
Anna is studying A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and History. Anna is going skiing in Austria at half term and on a netball tour to Malta.
Caitlin is in second year of secondary school. She is a member of Bouncers skipping club and recently won a gold medal for speed skipping at the national skipping championship in Glasgow. Caitlin also likes gymnastics.
On holiday we like to experience different cultures and museums. We had a successful exchange to Manhattan Beach LA in July 2016 and greatly enjoyed staying in our exchange house and visiting LA attractions such as The Getty Centre, Venice Beach, Griffith Observatory, La Brea Tar Pits, The Broad and many more! We loved our most recent exchange to the Philadelphia area in August 2017 and had an amazing time visiting New York, Washington DC and many museums and attractions in Philadelphia including Liberty Bell and the Independence sites and seeing The Philadelphia Orchestra accompany the film La La Land at The Mann Center! Previous favourite holiday places are The Nobel museum, Fotografiska and Abba museum in Stockholm, Tivoli and the Polar Bears in Copenhagen zoo, Eyjafjallajökull volcano museum, black beach at Vik, going off road to Landmannalaugar hot springs in Iceland, the sights and sounds of New York, the Sagrada Família in Barcelona. We also loved going skiing and to Centre Parcs in The Netherlands.

Family home in Kingston-upon-Thames; South West London
We live in a large semi-detached Edwardian house in Kingston-upon-Thames. Norbiton train station is a few minutes walk with trains to central London taking 25 minutes. Kingston-upon-Thames is rated highly for its shopping centre, riverside restaurants and its easy transport links to central London, the South East and the West country.

Beskrivning av vårt grannskap och omgivning
Norbiton Avenue is a quiet street very close to excellent transport links and shops. It is great for families as we are near to excellent local schools, Richmond Park and a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Kingston. We have several shops and restaurants very close by including Calabrese Italian and Fish! restaurants along with Sainsbury's local, Jarvis Fishmonger, Jeffries Butcher, Japanese sushi shop, Middle Eastern shop and All Wined Up off license.
We are approximately 45 minutes from Heathrow and about 60 minuets from Gatwick airport. There is a convenient and cheap direct public bus from Heathrow to Kingston (X26) which is a good alternative to taxi or train service. There is a good train service from Gatwick to Clapham Junction then change to Norbiton.
