** We are looking for an exchange 2 weeks in August 2023.** France, Italy or Spain are our preferences.
We are a large family of 1 adult and 4 children. My children are 20, 19, 12 and 10. Sometimes the older 2 will join us and sometimes they will be doing their own thing. We enjoy being outside and we also enjoy playing games and watching great films. We like to laugh. : ) We like cooking delicious food. Janet is Irish and loves running, biking, yoga and hiking. She is also learning how to dance. We have 5 chickens who just need fed and watered when you are here. And you get to eat their delicious eggs. : ) We also have 1 very friendly cat called Bibi.

We are restricted to school holidays, but we love travelling and would be excited to visit new places. We can only travel within Europe at this time. Please get in touch if you are interested in swapping!
Large, comfortable and charming family 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, traditional farmhouse, 30 mins from Bath in the peaceful Somerset countryside. Views over countryside. Lovely walled garden, with 3 chickens to lay fresh eggs for you! We also have 2 cats. We have a friendly home for you with plenty of things to do for a weekend or longer. Our home is well lived in, but is big and has a great garden for kids. We are looking to swap with other people who would like a weekend in the countryside. A swap in a city is good for us during term time, and during school holidays we'd love to do a longer swap. We'd love to hear from you if you need a rest in the countryside!

We love where we live. We live in rural Somerset up a lane about 500 metres from the lovely village of Kilmersdon. From Kilmersdon it is about 30 minutes by car into the beautiful city of Bath and 10 minutes by car into the market town of Frome. There are buses available in our village. We are very close to a cycle path into Frome and Mells and our home looks out onto the beautiful Somerset countryside.
We have wonderful walks straight from our house. There is a beautiful little river in a very secluded spot close to our home as well, with a little rope bridge and a tyre swing. In our village there is a pub and a church. The closest shop is about 5 mins drive away. We are really close to a cycle path and have 4 bikes (2 adult, 2 children) that are available to use. There is a great park in our village for your children. Ours love it.

We are 30 minutes by car to the beautiful city of Bath. There's lots to do here. Bath Abbey, visit the Roman Baths, just walk around the city - it's very beautiful and there's always lots to see. And there is great shopping. We're about an hour from Bristol, and 15 minutes to Frome, which has a wonderful independent market on the first Sunday of every month.

We want you to enjoy being in our house! But we don't want it to smell of smoke, so please no smoking inside. It is important for us to find our home neat and tidy when we arrive back. We have a cleaner who is available to clean after your stay. So if you wish we can organise an end of stay clean with her if you want. It costs £40. If you have the same plan for your house that would be great!
