WE HAVE FIND AN EXCHANGE FOR THE SUMMER 2017. We are still interested in exchanges for a few days in a big city like Amsterdam, Londen or ?? in the school- holidays. But also very interested in a few days at the coast.

Our surroundings:
We live in a lovely family-house with a nice big garden in a small historic village. Zutphen is located in de Achterhoek, close to Arnheim. Zutphen is a really friendly town with a great community spirit.

As we have four kids, our house is specially fit for a family with kids. In the garden we have a large trampoline (with safety net).

The house:
Our house has a spacious living room, there is a corner next to fire place, a place to sit and watch tv. The new part of the house is the dining room, we often sit there to eat and relax and play the piano. Downsairs we also have the kitchen and the garage.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom, the bathroom and 3 other bedrooms on the first floor. On the second floor there is a girls room and a spareroom with a small double bed.

We have a few little chickens in the garden. In return for a handful of corn the chicken will provide you with very tasty eggs. It is also possible for us to organise for a neighbour to feed them, but children will love it! We also have a dog, who will either come with us or be looked after elsewhere.

Surroundings:
The surroundings are green and quiet but there is enough to do and places you can visit. We live on the outside of the city, it is easy to walk in the nature from our house. The Achterhoek is ideal for cycling, the landscape is beautiful. It is also very easy to go into the centre of Zutphen, less than 10 m by bike, 20 m walking.
Zutphen is lovely, there is lots to do, nice restaurants, a theatre, two museums, cinema, indoor and outdoor swimming and nearby you can walk in the countryside with donkies or go canoeing!

Zutphen is close to other beautiful, historic cities like Deventer (10 minutes), Arnhem (20 min.)and Nijmegen. Bigger cities in the Netherlans are easily reached by car or by train, Utrecht 1h20, Amsterdam 1h40.

Also close by there is a Climbing wood where you can have an exiting survival- expierence.
