We are from the United States, are in our forties, and work remotely. We've lived all over Europe and Asia and have decided to make Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, our home base when we aren't traveling. Yael is a journalist, Katie is an artist. We're extremely clean, have no pets, and are nonsmokers. We've exchanged homes with friends a handful of times but are excited to take the next step!

Beskrivning av hemmet vi erbjuda att byta bort
Our one-bedroom condominium is small, but comfortable. Located on the third floor of a new eight-floor, 55-unit luxury condo building, this corner unit is built with indoor-outdoor living in mind. Interior space totals approximately 60 square meters, while the balcony adds another 25 meters.
We've installed a high-quality water filter for clean ice and drinking water, from both the fridge and kitchen faucet. Inverter air conditioners are in the living room and bedroom. There is a large television in the bedroom, the living room's big-screen projector gives a great cinematic experience at night, and we'll leave both logged in to Netflix, Prime, and Hulu. There is a clothes washer and dryer in the unit.
Our views of the Sierra Madre mountains are absolutely gorgeous for sunrise, and the rooftop infinity pool has views of the ocean and mountains. In addition to the pool, the roof level has a small gym, a communal barbecue area, and a sizable indoor lounge. The building has 24-hour security, an underground parking garage, and a small coworking space on the second floor, making it ideal for digital nomads and remote workers. Fiber WiFi in the unit is fast at 200 Mbps down, 100 Mbps up, and speeds are about half that in the building's common areas. We've installed a laptop-sized safe in the unit for your electronics and other valuables, although the building already feels like the safest, most secure place we have ever lived.
There is the possibility of using our car during your stay, depending on the circumstances. No smoking and no pets, please—Katie is allergic. Please note, the bedroom has a queen bed, while the second queen bed comes from the convertible couch in the living room. The condo can sleep four people, but we doubt any more than two would be comfortable here for longer stays.

Beskrivning av vårt grannskap och omgivning
We're in Colonia Versalles, known as Vallarta's trendy, foodie neighborhood. Versalles is a quieter area, with a good mix of homes, condo buildings, and businesses. We're about a ten-minute walk from the beach, and just a few minutes' walk to countless cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops.
This is your spot if you like to eat! Here's a sampling of spots nearby: both pre- and post-Columbian Mexican (of course), Thai, Taiwanese, multiple Japanese and sushi restaurants, French, Spanish, Asian Fusion, Argentine, Chinese, several Italian places, two Greek restaurants, fine dining, several notable brunch places, pizza, bakeries, a brewery, a creamery, a British pie shop, Caribbean food, Nashville-style cuisine, at least two hamburger spots, poke, tons of ceviche, vegan options, an organic grocery, boba tea, a handful of places to grab a beer or cocktail, and lots, LOTS more. There's even a legal cannabis dispensary, if that's your thing.
Additionally, we're about a 15-minute Uber ride to the Romantic Zone, the tourist center of Vallarta and the place to go for clubs, packed bars, and a bunch more good food. We're also 15 minutes drive from the airport, and a 15-minute walk to both Costco and the city's best grocery store, La Comer. Walkable to several malls/shopping centers, too.
English is widely spoken here in Vallarta. Puerto Vallarta is considered the LGBTQI+ capital of Mexico, and has one of the lowest crime rates in the country — much lower than most major U.S. cities.
