Our House is located inside the walls in the historic centre of Como, lovely town on the edge of the Lake, made famous by celebrities that have taken place in recent years. In close proximity of the House you can find shops, restaurants, theatres, train station, buses and boats. Como is only 50 km from Milan is easily reached by the Nord Railway (500 m from the House). The building in which is situated the apartment dates back to 1600, the House is on two floors and is equipped on the first floor with a large kitchen with fireplace, large and bright living room , a bedroom, children's room with one bed and two bathrooms while the second floor there is a study with a sofa bed , a wide window with a view to the mountain of Brunate , bathroom and an other bedroom with a single bed . At the second floor there is an easy access to a beautiful little terrace.

Situato in una conca circondata da montagne ricche di boschi, il Lago di Como offre un paesaggio dagli aspetti più vari. Lungo le sue rive si alternano pascoli, boschi, rocce aspre e imponenti, pittoreschi paesi affacciati sull'acqua e belle ville con parchi e giardini. Il Centro Lago, dove si incontrano i tre rami, è il punto dal clima più mite e dal panorama più ampio; raggiungendolo in barca si gode di una bella vista su tutto il promontorio di Bellagio, sulla Grigna settentrionale che domina la Valsassina e, nelle giornate terse, sull'alto bacino con la catena alpina sullo sfondo.
Lungo le rive del lago, in particolare da Cernobbio fino a Gravedona, e a Bellagio, si possono ammirare bellissime ville con parchi, ricchi di fiori e piante esotiche e rare. Basti pensare alla Villa d'Este di Cernobbio, oggi adattata a sontuoso albergo, con un magnifico parco, o alla Villa Passalacqua di Moltrasio, alla splendida Villa Arconati presso la punta di Balbianello a Lenno .

E’ un susseguirsi di luoghi magnifici e paesaggi incomparabili il Lago di Como (detto anche Lario), lo specchio d’acqua dalla caratteristica forma a Y rovesciata interamente circondato da montagne. Un territorio ricco di storia, cultura, bellezze naturali, arte, costellato da accoglienti paesini, ville dai fantastici giardini, pittoreschi villaggi lacustri.

Il centro più importante è Como, la città che dà il nome al lago, con i suoi pregevoli monumenti, il grazioso centro storico e gli scorci suggestivi. Se battelli e aliscafi sono un’ ottima occasione per ammirare la città e godere appieno della bellezza del paesaggio, per godere di un panorama più ampio non c’è mezzo più adatto della funicolare che collega Como a Brunate. La seconda città per importanza è Lecco, famosa soprattutto per essere la cittadina dei Promessi Sposi. Altrettanto suggestivi sono i paesi del lungolago come Cernobbio, sede di grandi ville signorili come Villa d’Este e Villa Erba, e Bellagio, nota come la “perla del lago” per il suo scenario attraente. Semi sconosciuta ma molto affascinante l’isola Comacina, un piccolo gioiello verdeggiante circondato dalle acque del Lago, nella quale sono stati trovati insediamenti risalenti all’epoca romana, ragion per cui gli studiosi amano definirla la “Pompei Lariana”.
