A very good base for exploring Southern Italy
We had an excellent time exploring Puglia and Basilicata - Dyria’s comfortable and well located apartment in Bari was a very good base to explore from. She could not have been more communicative, more welcoming and the apartment could not have been more clean and tidy. We were overwhelmed by the generosity with food - a tiramisu big enough for a week, two plum cakes, prosciutto, formaggi, focaccia, cime di rape (why can’t we find it in London?). Sylvia too was so very helpful with tourist advice and even gave us a guided tour of Bari before she left for London. We took full advantage of all the ‘insider’ information on our travels. It was great to make our first trip to Europe in 2 years to this fascinating and often beautiful part of the world, and to know we were exchanging with such charming and friendly people. Everything was fine when we got home again too.

I live alone in my apartment ,but I'm used to travel with my son Cristiano and his partner Sylvia or with a couple of friends of mine.It's in my character friendly and "curious"choosing to run my B&B as a business,but I'm very busy with it mostly during the span of time between April -October, that's why I preferably consider to make home -exchanges from November to early April

I'm looking for interesting offers including well connected city center homes in Rome,London, Vienna,Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris.Manhattan.I'm very experienced and enthusiastic home swapper.The concept brought me many new acquaintances and opportunities to explore wonderful places. Unfortunately COVID 19 prevented me from abroad exchanges in 2020 and early 2021.But I'm always open to offers and respond promptly to messages!

The apartment is located in a central area of Bari , in the lively Libertà district on the border with Murat.It is on the 4th floor of a 70's building served by 2 lifts , where I run also my B&B, Casa Pimpolini. It is a smart,welcoming, comfortable fully equipped apartment. .Free internet access,parking facilities.All rooms have air conditioning or ceiling fans.No pets, please .. A tiny, charming flowery terrace.for smokers....2 double rooms with private bathrooms, an elegant living room ,a bright,veranda-kitchen. At walking distance from all the highlights of the town.: Old historic center, the Basilica of San Nicola, the Cathedral of San Sabino, the Castello Svevo...Bari is a very strategic place for visiting Apulia: Alberobello and its "trulli",Trani and Castel del Monte,Grotte di Castellana, Polignano a mare, Ostuni, MATERA!, Lecce...all sites within reach of a day-trip!

My apartment is located in a very central area in the lively Murat district It is within walking distance of the historic center called "Bari Vecchia", the shopping district, the railway station and the harbour The private shuttle Tempesta or the bus n°16 from the airport stop 5 minutes walk away.
.At walking distance from all the highlights of the town,The Swabian Castle,San Sabino Cathedral, San NicolasChurch, with their gorgeous Romanesque architecture, a long, breaktaking seapromenade.. . Bari is a strategic starting point for day trips to Matera and its "Sassi" Alberobello with its "trulli road"
both recognised as World Heritage of Humanity , Castel del Monte, Trani, Polignano a mare, Castellana Grotte, Locorotondo, Ostuni, Lecce, all within easy reach

The apartment has all conveniences, it's well located for restaurants,supermarkets,shopping areas and all the highlights of the "Old Bari"and Murat district about 10 minutes walking away distance .Walk along the seafront is 800 m as the crow flies, the city beaches are 2 / 3 km.away
