Our home is in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac about 1km from the centre of Fermoy. We are very lucky be able to enjoy all the conveniences of having shops and amenities a short stroll away while also enjoying all that the countryside has to offer. There is a beautiful woods a 5 minute walk from our house where our dog Milo enjoys a daily walk. There is a little stream where the children love to play. My husband loves to play a round of golf in Fermoy Golf Club which is only 2km from our home. There are several lovely places to visit in and around Fermoy. We have currently compiling a booklet to leave for you, should you choose to come and spend your holidays here.

The river Blackwater flows through Fermoy and is a popular destination for fishermen who travel from far and wide to fish for salmon and trout. Rowing is a very popular sport in Fermoy and members of the local club can often be seen out training on the river.

One of our favourite beaches, Whiting Bay, is a mere 40 minute drive away. There are numerous beaches dotted along the coast. There are many summer camps run both locally here in Fermoy and at the beaches throughout the summer (I'll be happy to advise you should you want further information regarding any of these).
