An easy walk or tram ride from us, is the cult street "Kastanien Allee." There you will find even more cool cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as boutiques and bookstores. And crossing Kastanien Allee is a perfectly beautiful street called "Oderberger Strasse." There you see beautifully renovated historical buildings, and eclectic shops, hair salons, barber shops, and pizzerias, etc. At the bottom of Kastanien Allee you will find Zions Kirche and Rosenthaler Platz -- both with vibrant street scenes and pop culture. Mauer Park is another option, with a memorial of the Berlin Wall and the Cold War. Not far from our apartment in the other direction is Stargarder Strasse -- with more historic architecture, diverse Berliners from around the world, and countless options for indoor and outdoor dining.
