What a great spot so close to the action in the sweet little village of Cowichan Bay. Great location, so close to many wineries as well as the old city Centre of Duncan. Four thumbs up!

We loved our (almost) week at the Cowichan Bay house. It's in a lovely location, a few minutes from the very sweet village, and several good places to eat and drink. It's also an easy drive to some local wineries, and the Saturday market in Duncan is well worth the drive. The house itself is very well equipped, and comfortable. Sadly we did not get good weather, but somehow we enjoyed it nonetheless! This is definitely on our list to do again. Thank you!

Diane and Neil met us on our arrival and welcomed us to the amazing house and breathtaking view. The local area is delightful, the people so friendly and a great base from which to discover the island.There is so much to see , do and discover not to mention the incredible wildlife from seals in the bay to bald eagles passing by and deer in the gardens. Thank you Diane and Neil for a wonderful exchange , it was difficult to drag ourselves away.

Our time at Diane’s home in Cowichan Bay was restful and very enjoyable. We particularly loved the natural beauty of the island and took advantage of the many trails and marinas. The local facilities offered all that is needed for a comfortable stay. Thanks Diane.

We had a lovely summer week in Diane's house: Diane welcomed us warmly, the house is modern, clean and very comfortable. The view from the terrace is exceptional, and we really did appreciate to have a drink at sunset, watching the bay, and the seals swimming in the sea. In the picturesque village you will find all what you need ( and a very good bakery), nice restaurants with seaview, we also went for a whale watching tour (ecoadventure, great!) from cowichan bay, and saw lot of orchas whales. Diana's home is a wonderful place to stay in Vancouver Island. Refined and nicely decorated, but also very cosy. One floor is dedicated for day life and night for a couple and another floor with two rooms and another livingroom is perfect for one or two choldren. Our daughter enjoyed her freedom ! Everywhere in the house you can really enjoy the breathtaking view on the bay, watching the hummingbirds while cooking or spending time reading or just enjoying the lanscape near the windows facing the ocean. Cowishan Bay is the Best place to stay in Vancouver Island : it's a small and typical seaside village. We thouht we were in the 60's, nothing seems to have changed since a long time. However you can find an excellent bakery and cheese, as good as the best in France... The location is also perfect, not too far from Victoria, an amazing city, big enough to find all what you need, with the charm of a seaside city. Nainamo at the North is also easy to reach if you want to take a ferry to Vancouver and the North of British Columbia. We also visited the West coast and had a great experience hiking in the Rain Forest and on the Pacific coast, between Ucluelet and Tofino. We really enjoyed Daiana's home, Cowishan Bay, Vancouver Island and the "Canadian Way of Life", respectful, quiet and lively. Sure we'll be back !
