Beskrivning av hemmet vi erbjuda att byta bort

The house is a very easy to manage bungalow on the edge of the village. It is very quiet but only a 2 minute walk from the shop. It has two double bedrooms, a study with a double sofa bed, a bathroom and shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has recently been upgraded. There is a separate dining room. A large Conservatory is at the front of the house and provides a year round alternative to the lounge and dining room. The house is warm and cozy and there is a wood burning stove in the comfortable lounge. The very pretty garden is completely enclosed and private. Car exchange is offered as a car is essential when staying here, and in addition both ladies and gents touring bikes are available.

Our house is situated in the very pretty village of Bildeston, one of Suffolk's real gems. It's a small but wonderfully friendly village with all essential amenities - a great place to live.. It has a very well stocked shop, where one can buy most things, and which includes a post office. There are three pubs / restaurants: the renowned Bildeston Crown, whose food makes it a strong contender for a Michelin Star and which also has 12 beautifully appointed rooms; the Kings Head, which brews its own beer, serves great food, and is very much the village 'local'; and the Red Lion which has recently reopened. There is also a Medical Centre, and one of the county's top bicycle shops for the cycling enthusiast.

Våra tips om platser att gå och saker att göra när du bor i vårt hem

The village itself is at the heart of the county with easy access to a number of historic cities and towns. Bury St Edmunds, Colchester and Ipswich are all about 30 mins away, and Norwich and Cambridge are within an hour's drive. More locally, Lavenham is a must visit and only a 15 minute drive, and Constable country is also close-by. Local shopping is available in the very attractive village of Hadleigh which has a comprehensive range of shops and is only 10 minutes to the south.

From Bildeston it is easy to get to London, which is only 45 minutes from Colchester by train, and these run very regularly to and from Liverpool Street. In the other direction the east coast and the very attractive towns of Southwold and Aldeborough are both about 45 minutes away.
