Once a blighted area, our East Village neighborhood has been transformed into a lively cultural hub for eating, drinking, listening and just enjoying life in beautiful San Diego. With its rooftop bars, cafes, boutique shops, galleries, live music venues, public art, luxury hotels and restaurants, this area is downtown San Diego’s largest neighborhood. Close by is Little Italy, the Gaslamp Quarter, Old Town, Seaport Village and Balboa Park which is home to more than 16 museums, multiple performing arts venues, lovely gardens, trails, and many other
creative and recreational attractions, including the world-famous San Diego Zoo.
The ground floor of our building has a juice bar and upscale Italian market/restaurant; directly across the street is a Starbucks, a grocery, a bowling alley and a Thai restaurant. Within a three-block radius is Petco Park, home to the San Diego Padres, two trolley stations, a park, two additional supermarkets and the architecturally distinctive, 9-story main library. Centrally located, the East Village is an ideal hub for exploring the entire region. A train station is easily accessible for scenic day or overnight trips up the beautiful California coast.
