Princeton is a lovely, lively town with a great university and beautiful campus. It is located halfway between New York City and Philadelphia, both of which are easily accessible by train, bus, or car in 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Our house is on a quiet, friendly residential street, a short walk to the university, theaters, parks, historic sites, and downtown Princeton with its many shops and restaurants. A natural food store, a coffee house, and several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk. Princeton University's football stadium and other sports venues are nearby. We are 3/4 mile from Carnegie Lake, where Olympic rowers train, and the D & R Canal--a 50- mile linear park, great for biking, birding, walking, jogging, and canoeing. McCarter Theater, a 20-minute walk, has outstanding programs with theater, dance, jazz, cabaret, and world music. Princeton University offers concerts, lectures, readings, movies, an art museum and sporting events, often free and open to the public.
