We are only 4 blocks from the L train that can whisk you to the heart of downtown Chicago in 20 minutes. Chicago is a city of great ethnic diversity. We have the world's best museums, nightlife, architecture, shopping, restaurants, live music, dance, theater, sports, and a beautiful lakefront with fabulous beaches. Our home is very comfortable and welcoming, in a very safe, quiet and historic neighborhood. Within a walking distance of a half mile are two lovely parks, a great library, multiple restaurants, cafes, a shopping district, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Home/Studio and the Unity Temple. Relax on the porch swing and take in the beautiful garden. We have a queen size bed in our master bedroom, full size beds in the other two bedrooms, and a queen size pull out sofa in the family room.
We can also offer our 11 room farmhouse on 10 rolling, private acres in rural Indiana, only 2.5 hours away by car. The farm has five bedrooms. Sit in the shade of the giant old maple tree and listen to the songbirds. During dusk and late into the night in early summer, witness the amazing sight of more twinkling fireflies than you can imagine. Have the best of city and country life all in one exchange!
