Welcome to our vibrant family! We are a family of five, including two seasoned attorneys (read: old and still working) and their three adventurous adult children, all in their twenties. One lives in Madrid, one in NYC, and one in Miami Beach. Our home reflects the tapestry of our experiences, adorned with souvenirs from our travels. We have a passion for exploring, immersing ourselves in different cultures and locations, and savoring the richness of diverse cuisines.
We pride ourselves on being down-to-earth and approachable and want our home to be a warm and welcoming space where you can swim, sleep well, and relax while you plan your fun. We believe that connections are made through shared experiences, and we are thrilled to provide you with many local recommendations for food and entertainment (along with necessities like groceries and pharmacy). HomeLinker since 2001. Always open to all offers and have exchanged at least nine times with kids when they were young. Ready to travel again-- with or without them!
Bright, sunny, five bedroom/five bathroom Mediterranean style home with pool in upscale and centrally located Coconut Grove. Marble/wood Floors, 12 ft. ceilings, covered Terrace for outdoor dining. Lush and tropical. Less than a 15-minute drive from South Beach / Art Deco / Design District / Key Biscayne / Coral Gables / Little Havana / Airport; Walk two blocks to Biscayne Bay, the Kayak/boat/fish. Walk to Michelin restaurants, cozy cafes, and boutiques in the neighborhood. Drive 3.5 hours to Key West or 4 hours to Disney World. We have three adult children, but our long-time babysitter/housekeeper (29 years working with us) is often available for babysitting and light housework upon request if you have small kids.

Picture yourself walking up to our door to the gentle rustle of palm leaves, the aroma of blooming flowers, and the promise of a day filled with sunshine. Coconut Grove is known for its lush greenery and historic charm, providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable escape. You can walk to Michelin restaurants, cozy cafes, small boutiques, and art galleries. You are three blocks from Biscayne Bay and just minutes away from stunning beaches. Immerse yourself in the vibrant arts and entertainment scene, or simply unwind in our home. Miami is tropical and the mix of Cuban/Latin, Caribbean and East Coast influences swirl together to form a culture that exists nowhere else. It is young, energetic, and rich in ethnic diversity. From a performance of a Latin ballet to live Haitian music to wild blue and green parrots in our backyard, peacocks roaming our street, or a day laying on the beach, Miami has many things to offer.
Throughout the year, you can chose from a variety of live music venues, art and cultural exhibitions (the world-famous Basel), and fabulous upscale restaurants or local, simple but delicious restaurants where the main dishes are Cuban (yellow rice, black beans, fried plantains, ropa vieja) or Haitian (curried goat with congris) or Argentinean (steak with chimichurri sauce) or Chilean (fresh seafood with onion and tomato salad and homemade sauces). We have a list at the house of our favorite places to eat!
The neighborhoods are interesting, from South Beach with its pastel-hued Art Deco buildings and white sand-covered beaches, to Little Havana, with it guayabera-clad men playing dominoes and drinking short, sweet shots of Cuban coffee, to the Everglades where you can see alligator wrestling, visit a Seminole Indian Village or take an airboat ride through the "river of grass".
Whether you are into sports (professional teams like the Marlins, Dolphins, Miami Heat), personal recreation (boating, windsurfing, skiing, golf, fishing, snorkeling), world-famous shopping (Bal Harbor/ Aventura/South Beach), salsa or sunshine, Miami has a lot to offer.
