We live in Southern Bavaria, in Bergen, a little village directly at the foot of the Alps.

Although Bergen is rather small it offers various shops, some restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool, a mini golf course, a cable car to the top of the nearest mountain and a train station where you can catch direct trains to Munich and Salzburg. The nearest town is Traunstein (12 km), where you'll find everything else you might need. We're at about 10 kilometers from the lake Chiemsee with its islands and the famous castle, 35 kilometers from Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace with plenty to visit, 100 km from Munich where you will find all kinds of theaters, sights, museums etc. and 140 km from Innsbruck with its beautiful city center, the castle and its many other sights.
