This light-flooded architect-designed house with a spectacular view in the uplands is located in Meckenheim, a small village in one of the most famous wine-growing districts in Germany (Palatinate), about 60 km (37 miles) to Heidelberg, 100 km (62 miles) to Frankfurt airport, and 50 km to France. The house has got four bedrooms on three floors for 5 persons, a separate dedicated office with an additional davenport, three full bathrooms (on every floor), a spacious living and dining room with a chimney, and an open kitchen (for a total of 2,400 square feet). There is also a backyard with outdoor table, garden, a swing and space to play. The region is famous for the christmas market in Deidesheim (5 km) and wine festivals (e. g., "Wurstmarkt", Bad Duerkheim). We are close or within reach to the universities of Heidelberg (60 km), Kaiserslautern (40 km), Karlsruhe (60 km), Landau (25 km), Mainz (85 km) and Mannheim (25 km). The region is extremely walkable; in the Palatinate forest you can hike and mountainbike. Also, there are many nice restaurants. In our village you have got a grocery store, several farm shops, some winemakers, a pharmacy, a doctor, a kindergarden and an elementary school in a walking distance. There are several high schools in a distance of 5 to 10 km, reachable by public transport.
