Very modern passive house in one of the most beautiful cities of Germany.
Our 120 sqm apartment with patio is located in the northern part of the Munich inner-city district Parkstadt Schwabing. Our housing cooperative ART project gained several architectural awards. It is pretty near to the city center (about 4 km by bicycle or 7 stops with bus / metro). Shops, pharmacy and all necessary facilities are close. Fitness grounds are located in Englischer Garten, about 1 km for jogging, nordic walking or promenade.
The municipal Munich Art Domagk Ateliers (HAUS 50) are in the neighborhood - during 1993 and 2004 it was the biggest European artist colony with 250 ateliers.

During the 19th century Schwabing was the area with ateliers of famous artists like Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Lovis Corinth, Paul Klee and the aggregation "Blaue Reiter / Blue Rider" (Wassily Kandinsky, Alexej Jawlensky, Gabriele Münter, Franz Marc).
The most traditional and charming beer gardens are in Bavaria, especially in Munich, where they first started growing in the early 19th century. Munich is proud to have nearly 200 beer gardens, even the largest in the world. Prost!

The Chinesischer Turm (tower) is in Europe's largest inner-city park, Munich's Englischer Garten, about a 15-minute bicycle tour from our home.
Beer garden also with restaurant 10 minutes by bike from our home in Englischer Garten / Aumeister
Our cooperative tavern - Gasthaus Domagk is downstairs in the house next door.
At the moment our preferred Italian restaurant 3 minutes to go - Restaurant Al Vicolo - Pizza & Birra
