Our house is situated close to the lake Constance (700 m), near the three countries Swizzerland (8 km), Austria (50 km) and France (100 km).
There are lots of places to discover: The Flower Island Mainau is a 20 minutes walk away (www.mainau.de) The historical city of Konstanz (7km), Meersburg (4km), Lindau (60 minutes) and Bregenz.
Swizzerland is close to Konstanz. A couple of mountains of the suiss and austrian Alpes (1.500-2.500 m) are within one hour drive. Zurich with its international airport, 60 minutes. You can also reach Stuttgart (2 hours) and Munich (3 hours).
If you are interested in culture you can visit the Unesco World Heritage Island of Reichenau (www.reichenau.de).
The adventure park rust is a 2 hours drive away.
There are lots of opportunities for biking, swimming, sailing and hiking. The black forest is a one hour drive.

Otherwise you can go to the little beach and enjoy the lake 10 min by bike, 5 min by car.
